What motivated you to run for this position?
As a mother, grandmother and concerned citizen I can no longer sit back and watch, I want to be part of the solution. Our country and State are at a turning point, some would say a “Perfect Storm”. The state of our economy; unafforable healthcare; declining infrastructures, underfunding our counties, and cities have been bubbling around us for years. Now it is mixed with rising food prices, high price gasoline, mortgage crisis, national and personal debt, we have a storm. We need leadership and decisions at the state level that are balanced and bold.
What issues related to the office you’re seeking do you think are of the biggest concern to voters?
Health care, cost of gasoline, gas and electricity, alternative transportation, fair distribution of state funds to cities and towns, infrastructure, property tax, protecting the environment and jobs.

My life experience has made me equipped for this job. I have raised two children as a young widow while moving up the corporate ladder of major health care organizations. I am now retired with 39 years of experience, a small business owner and an active community volunteer. I have worked closely with State and Government officials, unions and many non-profit and for profit organizations to solve problems that have impacted the lives of many citizens. I have been successful and I am energetic, a quick study and I am ready to work for Wyoming.
